Four Alberta communities received outstanding news over the weekend! They will share a healthy $100,000, courtesy of the Rural Communities Foundation (RCF) grant. The mandate of the Foundation is to improve the sustainability of farmers and ranchers in Alberta by improving access to funding for educational, recreational and cultural facilities, and programs in Alberta. Applications Now Open for Livestock Drought Relief

Applications are now open for the 2023 Canada-Alberta Drought Livestock Assistance program, providing livestock producers with up to $165 million to maintain breeding herds. The governments of Alberta and Canada are partnering on the 2023 Canada-Alberta Drought Livestock Assistance program to support livestock producers facing extraordinary costs due to this year’s dry conditions.
