COVID-19 Update: Store Hours & Tailgate Pick-up

Our Commitment

As the impact of COVID-19 in the communities where we live and work continues to evolve, UFA remains committed to protecting the health and safety of our team, our members and our customers.

In an effort to provide the best possible service from locations that remain safe and reliable, UFA has implemented a number of preventative measures.

Brooks, Falher and High River – Tailgate Pick-up Only

Out of an abundance of caution, UFA Farm & Ranch Supply Stores in Brooks, Falher and High River have temporarily transitioned to remain open for Tailgate Pick-up only due an increased concentration of COVID-19 cases in the community. Entry into these three stores and yards will not be permitted. This does not impact any customer deliveries or other areas of our operation.

Please note we are unable to accommodate walk-up orders at these locations. All orders must be placed in advance.

It is a simple, three-step process from order to delivery:

Tailgate Pick-up at All Other Locations

Tailgate Pick-up is now available at all UFA Farm & Ranch Supply stores, and is an alternative way to get the products you need without having to enter the store, or even leave your vehicle.

It is a simple, three-step process from order to delivery:

  • Call 1-877-258-4500 and select Option 3 to place your order. If placed before noon, we'll get it ready for you with same day service. Orders placed after noon will be available the next business day.
  • Your local Farm & Ranch Supply store will call you to work through the details of fulfilling your order, and confirm date and time of pick-up.
  • Upon arrival, pull into designated parking spot, call the store phone number on sign and we'll load your order into your vehicle.
  • You can pay for your order on site using credit or debit, or your purchase can be charged to your UFA account.

Store Hours

UFA has adjusted the hours at Farm & Ranch Supply stores to be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Saturday. At 4 p.m., the stores will close to the public, but will be available to serve Tailgate Pick-up orders until 5 p.m. This gives our team the opportunity to perform additional cleaning and sanitizing, and time to restock for the following day.

While we have adjusted the overall store hours for our Farm & Ranch Supply stores, there are no further changes planned for the operating hours at our Fertilizer Plants or corporate Petroleum Agencies at this time.

Protecting Our Member and Customers

We have enhanced the preventative measures at our Farm & Ranch Supply stores to further protect everyone who shops at our stores including one-way aisle markers, the installation of distancing barriers at the checkout counters and limits on the number of people that can be in the store at one time. These measures ensure our members and customers have the physical distance to shop safely at our stores.

Protecting Our Team

In addition to the preventative measures already in place, including frequent cleaning at all sites, regular disinfection of high-traffic areas and physical distancing, UFA has installed plexiglass dividers at all Farm & Ranch Supply stores. This provides an extra level of protection for everyone in the store.

In recognition of the tremendous efforts our front-line teams have dedicated during this difficult time, we have also implemented permanent increases in pay to our front-line employees, effective April 1.
