Replace the bulb on your Flowtron ½ acre Electronic Insect Killer to extend the life of your bug zapper. High efficiency replacement bulb lures flying bugs and mosquitoes to your electronic insect killer. Easily installs without the use of tools. For maximum effectiveness, replace bulbs annually to maintain optimum lure power. Bulb Replacement The ultraviolet light that is most effective in attracting insects is invisible to the human eye. It is produced by a special coating inside the fluorescent bulb glass. Since this light can deteriorate over time, bulbs should be replaced every season to ensure maximum UV output. Disconnect unit from electric source. Depress latch and remove plastic cover at base of unit. Bulb can now be pulled down out of the upper socket. Insert replacement bulb into upper socket. Replace plastic bulb cover and secure latch.
