The cantlebag fits behind the seat of a western saddle. James Built Saddlery cantlebags have two, adjustable length straps that tie the cantlebag down to the rear rigging rings. If your saddle doesn't have rear rings, it will have a slot where the flank cinch billet loops through. The straps can go through the loop or around the billet. The cantlebags are made of medium heavy, cowhide leather. There is a heavy metal or nylon zipper in the top for easy access. The cantlebag will hold a light coat, gloves, halter and lead or medical supplies for doctoring cattle and can easily be removed from the saddle when not in use.
