Product Information
The Brown's Milk Replacer Starter is a high protein milk replacer designed for calves that need an extra boost. A higher protein level will encourage faster, earlier growth for the producer who wants a faster growing calf at an early age. When a calf drinks, the milk goes into the abomasum, where it coagulates. The liquid is absorbed by the stomach walls, while the remaining curd proceeds to the intestines. For the curd to form, the product must be 100% milk protein, the dilution must be 12.5% dry matter (1 cup powder: 1 litre dry solution) and the fat must be melted and bonded to the protein.
