PLF Maxxx™ is the Pea, Lentil and Fava bean formula that is specifically blended for the maximization of these crops. Starting with the exceptional quality of the Herk 3000™ blend as the base and adding our proprietary micro-chelating agents to help plants utilize the available nutrients. What sets the PLF Maxxx formula apart from other Foliar Fertilizer products is its potent amount of Molybdenum. Best customers trialed PLF Maxxx™ in the 2016 season and saw increases of up to 30 extra bushels per acre of pea crops. Molybdenum is the quiet hero of plant nutrients - it is an essential component in two enzymes that convert nitrate into nitrite and then into ammonia before it is used to synthesize amino acids within the plant. It is also needed by symbiotic nitrogen fixing bacteria in legumes to fix atmospheric nitrogen. Plants also use Molybdenum to convert inorganic Phosphorus into organic forms in plants.
