Product Information
The Snugpak Basecamp Ops Air Mat is a full size sleeping mat that is easy to use and will provide plenty of comfort when you sleep on hard or rocky surfaces. The Air Mat's dimensions are 72 inches long by 24 inches wide by 2 inches thick. This mat features a built-in foot pump that can be used to pump up the mat quickly with little effort. There are 2 valves on the mat; to inflate it, close the black valve at the corner of the air mat to prevent air from escaping. Open the valve on the underside of the mat and place your foot over its opening and press down. Your foot must cover the valve for the process to work effectively. Allow the foam chamber to refill with air by slightly lifting your foot and press down again. Repeat this process until the mat has reached the desired firmness and close the valve cover. To deflate the mat, open the black valve at the corner of the air mat and compress the air pump to remove all air from the foam, close the foam pump value so the foam remains compressed. Roll the mat towards the deflation valve using the foam pump as a staring point and the air will be pushed out of the mat so that it can be packed. The Air Mat comes with a stuff sack and packs down into a travel-friendly 11 inch by 5 inch bundle that weighs 1.38 pounds. This mat also features a non-slip bottom made with peach brushed polyester that prevents sliding while you sleep. The Air Mat includes patches that can be used to repair the mat; adhesive is not included in the repair kit. The Air Mat will add an extra layer of comfort between you and the ground so you can sleep in comfort on your adventures.
