BioComposites Group (BCG), designs and manufactures products that exploit the extraordinary mechanical qualities of industrial hemp. Based in the Canadian prairies, we draw our raw material from Alberta farmers. Terrafibre products are made from locally sourced hemp straw that is decorticated and manufactured by BioComposites Group in Drayton Valley. Our products are made from the strong fibrous outside component of the stalk, bast fibre, which is then cleaned and processed into its final form. Or from the woody portion of the stalk called hurd, which is used for animal bedding. Hemp fibre is 100% biodegradable and compostable. It is one of the strongest natural fibres on earth. With a pH level of 6.7, hemp is an ideal fibre for water-based solutions. Hemp fibre can hold 100% of its own weight in water, providing a moist environment for seed germination. The highly absorbent mat provides an ideal root environment. The insulation properties of hemp ensure protection from temperature extremes, providing an ideal growing environment for tree seedlings. It doesn’t require chemical treatment or synthetic fillers!

Shipping and Return Policy Shipping Policy Free Shipping: We are pleased to offer free standard shipping on all orders. Processing Time: Orders are processed within 1-3 business days. Orders placed on weekends or holidays will be processed on the next business day. Delivery Time: Standard shipping typically takes 5-7 business days. Delivery times may vary depending on the chosen location and shipping carrier delays beyond our control. Shipping Locations: We currently ship to UFA stores only. Some items ship to specific stores only (Zone 2, 4). Please contact us at logistics@biocompositesgroup.com for additional details. Order Tracking: Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking details to monitor your shipment. Return Policy Eligibility: Items must be returned within 30 days of delivery. To be eligible for a return, items must be unused, in their original condition, and in the original packaging. Initiating a Return: To initiate a return, please contact our Customer Service team at info@biocompositesgroup.com with your order number and reason for return. Our team will provide detailed instructions and a return authorization. Return Shipping Costs: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend using a trackable shipping service to ensure safe and prompt delivery of your return. Refund Process: Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5-7 business days through the UFA Marketplace payment system. Exclusions: The following items are not eligible for returns: erosion control blankets, hurd in totes and weed suppressant rolls. Additional Information Damaged or Defective Items: If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us info@biocmopositesgroup.com within 7 days of delivery.
