United Farmer's of Alberta Co-operative (UFA) is excited to be at the High River Farmer's Market every Thursday from 3:30 to 6:30 pm. As part of a partnership with Inclusion Foothills, the UFA booth is conveniently located at the entrance to the market, ready to welcome visitors from the area!
This past Thursday, Area Manager Tom Fox along with Cassidy Read, a summer student working at the High River Farm & Ranch Supply store, were all smiles at the UFA booth.
"It's so great to be supporting communities through initiatives like the High River Farmer's Market," says Tom Fox, Area Manager for UFA. "As a co-operative we know how important it is to give back to the communities where our members live and work, especially given the current circumstances. Many of the vendors at the market are farmers and ranchers who work hard for us, it's a privilege to be standing alongside them at the market."
Visitors to the UFA booth have the opportunity to purchase locally-made hand sanitizer. Birds & Bees hand sanitizer is proudly made right here in Alberta at the Chrapko family's Heritage Farm Winery-Distillery. The generous bottle of Hand Sanitizer sells for $10.50 including GST. Masks are also available for purchase at the booth for just $3.75 including tax and UFA encourages all visitors to drop by to say hello, get your very own locally-made hand sanitizer, and find out more about the benefits of becoming a UFA member.
There are so many local vendors selling everything from perogies to potatoes, and even mini-donuts. We hope to see you at the High River Farmer's Market!
