The UFA Funds 4-H Program, funded by the UFA Agricultural Community Foundation (UFA Foundation), returns this year to support rural youth through local programs, projects, and initiatives that make a real difference in their communities. Launching on Show Your 4-H Colours Day, this program celebrates the incredible impact 4-H Alberta and 4-H Saskatchewan has across rural communities.
Applications for 4-H Alberta and 4-H Saskatchewan Clubs and Districts open today. Funding is limited and awarded on a first-come, first-served basis, with each Club or District eligible to receive $300. While funds are not guaranteed, every application will be reviewed to ensure it meets the donation criteria. Over the past few years, the UFA Foundation has funded over 200 4-H Alberta and 4-H Saskatchewan Clubs and Districts annually.
The application deadline is January 31, 2026, and funds will be disbursed by March 31, 2026. Opening applications in November gives 4-H Alberta and 4-H Saskatchewan Clubs and Districts time to plan their projects early for the upcoming season.
