Canada's agriculture and agri-food sector is evolving, and the voices of farmers, producers, processors and rural communities are essential to shaping what comes next.
Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada is currently seeking feedback to help inform Canada's Next Policy Framework, which will guide agriculture and agri-food policy, programs and investments from 2028 to 2033. The new framework will replace the current Sustainable Canadian Agricultural Partnership, which runs until March 31, 2028.
As a member-owned co-operative, UFA understands how important it is for people who live and work in agriculture to be part of these conversations. Your perspective can help shape the priorities that will support the sector in the years ahead.
Share your feedback by June 30
We encourage you to complete the Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada 2026 Next Policy Framework Consultation before June 30, 2026.
Your feedback will help governments better understand the challenges, opportunities and priorities facing Canadian agriculture today, and help guide future programs and investments that matter to you.
