The provinces of Alberta and Saskatchewan have created certain guidelines and requirements in order to access an use the application of strychnine to control Richardson's Ground Squirrels. Completing prescribed training is required as one of the eligibility requirements. Online training is available from May 4 until August 1, 2026.
