Our Muskoka Black Pond dye is a highly concentrated, food quality dye used by golf courses, parks, and homeowners nation wide. It creates a mirror-reflective effect in natural and man made ponds helping to filter ultraviolet rays and inhibit the growth of weeds and algae. Each water soluble bag comes individually packaged its own foil pouch for easy handing with no mess. Just tear open the foil and toss the inner bag into the pond. The dye spreads evenly throughout the pond in a short time and stays vibrant for up to 30 days depending on sun exposure and water flow. Muskoka Black pond dye is 100% safe for people, plants, pets, fish and amphibians so you can use as much as you like to achieve the desired colour effect. Each pouch treats approximately 500,000 gal or about a 1/2 acre pond averaging 4 feet deep
