Celebrating the New UFA Petroleum Agency in Corman Park

UFA opened the doors to the newest Saskatchewan location in Corman Park just before Christmas, and with warmer weather here, it is time to celebrate with a special grand opening event today. The celebration includes a speaking program with remarks from the Hon. David Buckingham, MLA Saskatoon Westview; Judy Harwood, Reeve, Rural Municipality of Corman Park; Kevin Hoppins, Board Chair, UFA; and Don Smith, Executive Vice President and Chief Operations Officer, UFA.

"This new location in Corman Park demonstrates our continued investment in the province of Saskatchewan. Thanks to our petroleum expansion, members and customers can access the most sophisticated and advanced cardlock network in western Canada," said Don Smith, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at UFA. "We thank the Corman Park, Dalmeny, Langham, Martensville, Osler, Saskatoon and Warman communities for their cooperation and support."

The new site offers many enhancements, including high-speed satellite fuel pumps and DEF. It is easily accessible with wide lanes and an expansive parking lot and is stocked with UFA and Shell-branded lubricant products. As the exclusive distributor of Dieselex® Gold, customers can fill up with the top-tier product engineered to enhance fuel efficiency, reduce maintenance, and increase power. In addition, there are contemporary shower and washroom facilities for the convenience of members and customers.

Located 5 kilometres northwest of Saskatoon on Highway 16 and the Yellowhead Highway, the location provides excellent access for members and customers.

Dustin and Paige Wiebe, Corman Park Petroleum Agents, are thrilled with the new location. "We've been in the petroleum business for many years, and this site exceeds expectations. We've had a lot of positive customer feedback, and we look forward to continuing to provide customer service excellence at a state-of-the-art facility."

"The success of the farmers and ranchers we serve is why we strive for continuous improvement," added Smith. "UFA has been an integral part of Alberta's history for 115 years, and we hope to bring the same value to the province of Saskatchewan for decades. Along with looking at new investment opportunities, giving back to rural communities is essential, ensuring they thrive well into the future."

UFA will present a $1,000 donation to the local food bank at the event. Food bank volunteer, Deborah Hamp, will be onsite to accept donations.

We encourage members and customers to visit Corman Park and see the new Petroleum Agency first-hand!
