UFA first introduced Dieselex® Gold to a select few customers in the spring of 2018 as part of a phased roll-out and today it's available at almost all UFA Petroleum locations. Customers rave about the performance of the product but how does it help improve sustainability?

Dieselex® Gold helps save fuel, time, and money. The product contains oxidation and corrosion inhibitors, fuel stabilizers and moisture control chemistry to keep fuel clean and flowing freely. Combined with the detergency that keeps injectors clean, it all adds up to improved efficiency. Test fleet studies showed a 5.7% gain in fuel efficiency. Dieselex® Gold, assists with faster engine starts, prevents internal injector deposits all while extending fuel storage life and protecting the fuel system components.

Medicine Hat Agency Manager Penny Mastel recently stopped in at the Estuary Hutterite Colony to see how they like their new on-site cardlock that was built by UFA and Bar W.
Since making the change to Dieselex® Gold they have been reaping noticeable benefits. According to lead colony mechanic James Tschetter they are saving 0.1 to 0.2 gallons/acre. On top of the fuel economy, they have noticed less wear on engine components and increased horsepower, especially when hauling grain in the hills between Leader, SK and Medicine Hat, AB.
