Congratulations Q3 Top Hand Winners

UFA is pleased to announce the Q3 winners in UFA's Top Hand recognition program. This program recognizes AgriBusiness team members who provide extraordinary levels of service to internal and external customers.

Hannah Morin, Yard Shipper/Receiver, Red Deer Farm & Ranch Supply

Top Hand Winner - Central

Hanna has a vested interest in becoming a CAM. She has taken it upon herself to learn all about the crop protection products (CPP) we offer and has taken responsibility of the CPP shed. Nothing goes in or out without her knowing. Hanna has done such a great job that she is now sharing her experience with other  UFA locations on process and best practices on shed maintenance, ensuring they are compliant and ready for Agrichemical Warehousing Standards Association (AWSA) audits.

Kevin Perrott, Truck Driver, High River Farm & Ranch Supply

Top Hand Winner – South

Kevin continues to go above and beyond when it comes to servicing our customers. He recently received some very nice compliments from a customer, "Kevin provides outstanding customer service and is an excellent UFA representative. He was helpful when at the yard and went out of his way to ensure that I was happy with the delivery. Even with something that was missing, due to no room on the truck, he took the time to review how to get it here. Truly an excellent customer experience."

Kevin also went out of his way on a rail delivery west of Okotoks when he was unable to drop the rails where the customer/contractor initially wanted.  When he was finished with all of his loads, he took some extra time and went back and moved the previously dropped rails to the contractor's desired location with the improved ground conditions.  Yet another example of top-level customer service.

Ted Zachoda, Truck Driver, Athabasca Farm & Ranch Supply

Top Hand Winner – North

Our Athabasca driver, Ted, shows great dedication to customer service and satisfaction by going over and above with something very simple when preparing for a delivery in a location he is not familiar with. He will contact the customer the week prior to that delivery taking place to see if he can come out after hours for a quick site visit on his own time. Ted wants to ensure he is aware of any hazards or areas he may have to work around. A couple of times the delivery has needed to be moved to a different day due to the conditions or restrictions within that area, saving his time and helping to manage the customer's expectation.
