Investing in our Student’s Future | Come Work at your Hometown UFA! Scholarship Program

UFA is looking for the next generation of agricultural professionals who want to work in their rural communities as we continue our scholarship program aimed at supporting post-secondary students interested in agriculture.

Not only will it help ease the financial burden of pursuing higher education for students who are passionate about agriculture and committed to making a positive impact in the sector, it also provides summer employment and mentorship opportunities, with access to industry experts to help students achieve their goals and develop the skills needed to succeed in agriculture.

If you are or know a student who is enrolled full-time in post-secondary study working towards a diploma or degree, they will be eligible to receive a $1,000 scholarship for accepting a summer position at UFA.

Students returning for an additional season of seasonal employment at UFA, will be eligible to receive a $1,500 scholarship.

Applications for the scholarship program will be accepted February 20 - April 15, 2024. Scholarships will be awarded upon application acceptance and completion of a summer employment term.

Please visit our careers page to view available summer positions and add the job posting number or job location to the application. The application for the UFA Student Scholarship Program can be found here.

UFA aims to create a diverse and inclusive community of agriculture students who are committed to making a positive impact in the industry. The scholarship program is part of UFA's commitment to sustainability and investing in the future of agriculture. The co-operative recognizes the importance of supporting the next generation of farmers and ensuring that agriculture remains a viable and thriving industry in the years to come.
