In March 2024, UFA announced that its next Saskatchewan Petroleum locations would be in Melfort and Moose Jaw, as part of its western Canadian expansion. Today, UFA is pleased to introduce the Petroleum Agent who will be operating the Melfort location, Jesse Trach.
Jesse takes incredible pride in his hometown of Melfort, where he was raised and has lived most of his life. He left for a short time to complete a Journeyperson Electrician Certification and returned when he met his wife, Shelbi, from Carrot River, Saskatchewan..
Shelbi is a teacher at the high school in Melfort, and Jesse owns a trucking company that collects and delivers scrap tires. The couple is very well-respected and active in the community. They have two children, Declan, 1, and Tenley, 4, who keep them on their toes.
No stranger to hard work, discipline and healthy competition, Jesse grew up playing as many sports as possible but was especially active in baseball and hockey, including playing junior hockey as the goaltender for the Melfort Mustangs.
Jesse says that the community has been buzzing with excitement since finding out that UFA is coming to town. "Everybody is really, really, excited. We have been told that we are moving in at the right time because now more than ever, people are looking for more options and they are looking to support businesses that put the customer first. I'm excited to be part of an organization that is focused on providing value to customers and to operating a new location backed by UFA's solid reputation in my hometown."
Jesse is grateful for the support he has received in the community, and he is committed to continuing to build on his existing reputation for delivering excellent customer service. He looks forward opening the doors to the Melfort UFA Petroleum Agency and to serving members and customers from across the province.
