As the holidays approach, we take this opportunity to reflect on and celebrate what we have accomplished as a co-operative. This year, we made significant investments to serve our members and customers better, and we celebrated those investments with communities in Alberta, where we have been for decades, and with new communities, like those in Saskatchewan.
In the summer, we hosted grand opening events in Saskatchewan at our Weyburn and Yorkton locations, and they were incredibly well attended by community members who welcomed UFA with open arms. Most recently, we announced the opening of Corman Park, our latest Saskatchewan location just outside Saskatoon and Dunmore, just east of Medicine Hat. And although we are expanding in Saskatchewan, we recognize the importance of continuing to invest where our roots began, in Alberta. Over the course of the year, we made significant investments at home, starting the year by announcing a new location for our Farm & Ranch Supply store and Petroleum Agency in Red Deer. We opened a new petroleum location in Wildwood and celebrated major store renovations in Stettler, Fort Saskatchewan and Airdrie. In addition to these improvements, we made it easier for members and customers to do business online through our enhanced e-commerce platform.
This coming year, UFA will celebrate a milestone anniversary of 115 years in business, and we will continue to invest in the communities we serve in Alberta, British Columbia, and Saskatchewan, making it easier for members and customers to do business at our Farm & Ranch Supply stores, Petroleum Agencies and online. Each year brings a new set of challenges for our members and customers to navigate; however, in 115 years of operation, one thing has remained the same: we have been and will continue to be there to help you get what you need to get the job done.
Our co-operative is, and always will be, about service, people and community. We will continue striving for excellence in customer service, putting members and customers first, and giving back to our communities, ensuring they thrive well into the future.
Thank you for your loyalty and patronage, and we wish you and your loved ones a safe and happy holiday season.
