The Agriculture Carbon Alliance (ACA) is calling on Canadians to help to preserve Bill C-234 in its original form and get it passed into law as soon as possible. An amendment removing provisions for heating and cooling buildings and greenhouses was recently adopted by the Senate Agriculture and Forestry Committee (AGFO), unfairly excluding tens of thousands of farmers, ranchers, and growers from vital financial relief. The ACA is also concerned that further delays arising from the proposed amendment to the bill will indefinitely postpone getting essential capital back into the hands of Canada's producers.
