Thursday April 26, 2018—Calgary, AB— United Farmers of Alberta Co-operative Ltd. (UFA) understands the demands of today's high performance engines and is pleased to announce Dieselex® Gold is coming to select UFA Petroleum locations.
UFA has signed a partnership agreement with GROWMARK Inc. to bring its membership this new bulk fuel offering to our members and customers. Dieselex® Gold is a premium diesel fuel that cleans injectors for better fuel efficiency, assists with faster engine starts, prevents internal injector deposits all while extending fuel storage life and protecting the fuel system components.

UFA is launching Dieselex® Gold in a phased rollout starting in southern Alberta. The first sites commissioned were High River April 16 and Cardston April 20. Smith said that it is UFA's intention to further expand into other select locations across the province, after the Co-operative begins serving its members and customers from the initial launch sites. UFA Petroleum agents, delegates and staff travelled to Richmond, Virginia to attend technical training and tour the Afton Chemical research facilities where Dieselex Gold is developed.

Dieselex® Gold, developed in 1952, contains a combination of cetane improver, detergency, lubricity improver, oxidation and corrosion inhibitors, demulsifiers, stabilizing agents and moisture control chemistry which addresses problems specific to #2 diesel fuel. Variable fuels and HPCR technology require a different chemistry which has been created in the reformulated version of the fuel.
