The UFA Agricultural Community Foundation (UFA Foundation) has revealed the five recipients of its 2025 Rural Communities (RC) Grant Program, awarding a total of $100,000 to support capital projects that will enhance education, recreation, and cultural spaces in agricultural communities.
Now in its second year under the newly established UFA Foundation, the program continues to build on the legacy of its predecessor, the UFA Rural Communities Foundation.
This year's grant recipients include:
- Pincher Creek Curling Club – $40,000 for a new curling facility.
- Buffalo Coulee Community Club – $20,000 for roof repairs.
- Radway Agricultural Society – $20,000 for Agri-Centre roof repairs.
- Fundraising Society of the Rolling Hills School – $10,000 for an Agricultural Academy Barn.
- Agriculture Charter School Society (Strathmore area) – $10,000 for a curriculum-enhancing barn.
